I am a proud father of two amazing children, Jade and Jeron. Jade, my daughter, is truly the social butterfly that hasn't ever met a stranger. She enjoys competing in volleyball, softball, basketball, and if "texting" was a sport she'd excel in that too! Jeron, my son, is your prototypical male sports fanatic. He enjoys everything that pertains to competition. I'm yet to win the "I'll race you to the car daddy". I never thought I would witness both of my children, ages 11 & 4, trying to sneak-a-peak at the next card in the game of "Candyland" in an attempt to become victorious!
After reading the above paragraph I'm certain you've realized the level of competition within our household. For me... competition breeds success! I began my journey in this industry with the realization I didn't know or even understand what "financial planning" really meant. Which is why it's imperative that I stress the importance of what competition means to me.
Competition is a driving source of my success as I've spent many years being told I was "too young", "didn't know enough", "not a seasoned veteran in the industry"... unfortunately all of those comments were probably true at some point. Which most importanly leads me to why I'm here today. I will never proclaim to know everything, however what I do know is that I'm easily trusted, I've built a practice based on ethical and moral values, and probably the most important characteristic that I possess is that I care about my clients as if they are part of my family. I've had to write several bio's in the past and I've always stated my achievements and accomplishments, however that is not what makes me who I am. Which is why I've taken this opportunity to give a brief, yet precise, depiction of who I am as a father, friend, and investment advisor.
